The location of the hotel was perfect, surrounded by a lush tropical forest and stunning waterfalls. The fresh mountain air added to the tranquil atmosphere, making it a great getaway from busy life. The personalized service was exceptional, with attention to detail and heartwarming conversations. The delicious, simple food was another highlight of the stay.

While the grounds and rooms were spacious and well-appointed, some areas of the hotel could use a bit of updating. The facilities, although functional, seemed a bit outdated.

One negative aspect is that the nearby church played loud music on Saturday afternoon and had an intense Sunday morning sermon.

We had a wonderful stay in a serene and stunning retreat surrounded by lush vegetation and coffee plantations. The early 20th Century elegance combined with 21st century comfort made our stay truly special. The grounds were teeming with wildlife and we enjoyed a variety of delicious meals served in different locations every night. The pool and spa were also perfect for relaxation. We left feeling refreshed and will definitely be back.
